Story telling today
Today I'm giving the devotional for the Board of Administration. I'm simply going to tell the story of the Prodigal Son. It's terribly easy, but I've worked on it quite a bit…maybe I'm making it harder than it is. At any rate, I'm trying to model how we "tell the story." I'm increasingly convinced that narrative and dialogue engage with our larger world better than exposition and description. So I'm working to learn how to use those tools.
I'm not going to talk about story-telling, I'm going to story-tell.
Pray me well. Thanks.
